Rust X - 2020™

Rust X-2020 is applied to surfaces where residual rust cannot be removed and on areas of light rust.

Remove oil or grease before application. Loose rust and mill scale are removed by wire brushing, abrasive disk or sand paper. In heavy industrial or marine environments, rust always contains salts which must be washed down with clean water before treatment with Rust X-2020™.

Rust X-2020™ is ready for use after stirring. A single application without excess is sufficient. Use of a stiff brush will enhance penetration, although application
by spray or roller is acceptable. Rust X-2020™ must be allowed to cure for at least 3 hours before priming.
NOTE: Rust X-2020™ is not a “stand alone” paint or primer. It must be coated with Metal Etch Primer™ within 48 hours.

Wash tools and equipment with water. Stains on surfaces or hands may be removed with household bleach.

• Protect adjacent surfaces such as concrete to prevent staining
• Should not be swallowed
• Keep out of reach of children
• Wear rubber gloves and protect eyes
